Evelyn Straka

Evelyn is a seventh grader at Troy Junior High School and has been dancing since she was three years old. In fourth grade, she earned a spot on the Mini Expressions Dance Team. The following year, she was selected as a soloist, and in sixth grade she was named Co-Captain of Mini Expressions while also making the Junior Elite team. This year Evelyn is looking forward to continuing to grow with her Junior Expressions team as well as taking on the challenge of Senior Pom. 

In Evelyn’s free time she likes to spend time with family and friends, vacationing, and swimming in her pool, but most days you will find her dancing. 

Evelyn would like to thank Lori Downey for seeing something special in her and giving her so many opportunities to grow. She would also like to thank Miss Bri, her solo coach, for being her biggest cheerleader. Evelyn is incredibly grateful to all the coaches at Dance Expressions, whose guidance and encouragement have helped shape her into the dancer she is today. Lastly, she is thankful for her dance family.
